Terms of use
Last updated: 28/09/26
These terms apply to your use of Flexilane, the app at board.flexilane.app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be readable; if anything is unclear, email [email protected].
1. Who we are
Flexilane is offered by Bram van Andel, parijsstraat 26, 2711CT Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) - ("we", "us").
Flexilane is in beta. That means:
- It's free to use during the beta.
- Features can change, be added or be removed, and things may occasionally not work as intended. We back up your data every night, but please keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
- Access is by invitation while the beta is private. We may limit or end beta access; if the beta ends, we tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can export your data.
- Beta testers who move to a paid plan after the beta get the beta discount announced on our website, for as long as that subscription continues without interruption.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give a correct email address and keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else got in.
- One person per account. You may have several accounts, for example for work and private use.
4. What you may not do
- Store or share content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights (such as copyright or privacy).
- Use Flexilane to send spam, including mass invites to people who didn't ask for them.
- Try to get into accounts or boards that aren't yours, test our security without permission, overload the service, or get around limits.
- Upload malware, or use Flexilane to host files for distribution unrelated to your boards.
If you break these rules we may remove the content, and suspend or close your account. Where reasonable, we warn you first.
5. Your content
What you put in Flexilane stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: storing it, backing it up and showing it to you and to the people you share it with. We don't use your content for anything else, and don't look at it unless that's needed to fix a problem you reported, or required by law.
If you invite others to a board, the board owner decides who has access. A public share link makes a board readable by anyone who has the link.
6. Prices and paid plans
During the beta Flexilane is free. After the beta there will be a free plan and paid plans, as shown on our website. Nothing is ever charged without you choosing a paid plan yourself. Before paid plans start, we publish their payment, renewal and cancellation terms, and tell existing users at least 30 days ahead.
7. Availability
We do our best to keep Flexilane available, fast and secure, but we can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors, especially during the beta. We may carry out maintenance, preferably at quiet times.
8. Liability
To the extent Dutch law allows, we're not liable for indirect damage (such as lost profit or lost time), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, or €100 if you haven't paid anything. This doesn't limit liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. If you use Flexilane as a consumer, you keep all rights consumer law gives you.
9. Ending
You can stop using Flexilane and delete your account at any time (account settings → your data), and download your data first. We can end the service or your account with at least 30 days' notice, or right away in case of serious misuse. Before the service ends, you get the chance to export your data.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we let you know by email at least 30 days in advance; if you don't agree, you can close your account before they take effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Zoetermeer unless mandatory law gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to the court where you live.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
